We’re leaving Pyatigorsk this evening and will be returning at the end of January. We’ll send out an email once we get back to the states with a little more update info, but after that won’t send out another newsletter until we get back in January. However we will finally be posting pictures on the blog! So be sure to check it out periodically to see all our gorgeous sites from Pyatigorsk!!

Merry Christmas!

It snowed today!  It didn’t snow for very long, nor was there a lot of snow, nor did it stick to anything but the grass - but it was still very exciting!  Also very exciting was the all-night prayer vigil that Molly and I went to last night with people from the Center.  I had never been to something like that before.  We literally stayed up all night praying (though I did doze a few times).  We used the ACTS model - Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication - as a guide and prayed in a large group (10 people were there total) and in small groups and partners.  At the end we prayed for the world at large, Russia, and down to local officials and people closest to us.  We then ended with breakfast. The whole experience was very spiritually uplifting and renewing.
